Sacra Familia is a photographic triptych composed of family archive images, reactivated as both relic and reflection. Placed directly on the ground, the work creates a physical and symbolic tension: the family, stepped over or the very foundation upon which our society stands, caught between erasure and support. By shifting the sacred image from the wall to the floor, Sacra Familia challenges notions of reverence and intimacy, transforming personal memory into a collective reflection on heritage, fragility, and the weight of lineage.
Sacra Familia is part of a larger installation Atlas M, a conceptual map of home, interweaving ideas and images such as: hearth, family, warmth, sacredness, trinity, circle, flame, abandonment, ash, dwelling, blood, emptiness, generation, lineage, history, memory…
Sacra Familia est un triptyque photographique composé d’images issues d’archives familiales, réactivées à la fois comme reliques et comme question. Posée directement au sol, l’œuvre instaure une tension physique et symbolique : la famille, piétinée ou socle sur lequel repose notre société, oscillant entre effacement et fondation. En déplaçant l’image sacrée du mur vers le sol, Sacra Familia bouscule les notions de respect et d’intimité, transformant la mémoire personnelle en une réflexion collective sur l’héritage, la fragilité et le poids de la filiation.Sacra Familia fait parti s'une installation plus large Atlas M, une carte conceptuelle de la notion de maison, tissant ensemble des idées et des images telles que : foyer, famille, chaleur, sacré, trinité, cercle, flamme, abandon, cendre, habitation, sang, vide, génération, filiation, histoire, mémoire…
